By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
02 What this site is
The Contextian is a media brand publishing daily AI and technology commentary as short videos ("Morning Prompt") and longer essays ("Evening Context"). It is owned and operated by Gregory Softworks LLC d/b/a The Contextian. This website serves primarily as a directory of links to our profiles on third-party platforms. The site is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional, financial, legal, or technical advice.
03 Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to, probe, or disrupt the site, its servers, or related infrastructure;
- introduce malware, attempt denial-of-service attacks, or scrape the site in a way that burdens our infrastructure;
- copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content or branding except as permitted in Section 4.
04 Intellectual property
The Contextian name, logo, wordmark, icon, written content, video content, and the design and code of this site are the property of Gregory Softworks LLC, and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may share links to our pages and profiles freely. You may not use our branding, or reproduce our content, in a way that implies endorsement or that misrepresents the source, without prior written permission.
Third-party names, logos, and trademarks referenced on this site or in our content belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
05 Copyright complaints
We respect the intellectual property of others. Our commentary may show brief excerpts, screenshots, or references to third-party products and publications for news reporting, commentary, and criticism. If you believe something we published on this site or on one of our channels infringes your copyright, email info@thecontextian.com with "Copyright notice" in the subject line, or write to the mailing address in Section 11. Please include:
- your name and contact information;
- a description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed;
- the link to, or a description of, the material you want removed, including the platform and video where it appears;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them; and
- your physical or electronic signature.
We will review each complete notice and remove or edit material where appropriate. For content hosted on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or another platform, you may also use that platform's own copyright reporting tools.
06 Third-party links and platforms
This site links to external platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. We do not control those platforms and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms, or privacy practices. Following an external link is at your own discretion and subject to that platform's terms.
07 Disclaimer of warranties
This site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free or that any information presented is complete or current.
08 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Contextian and Gregory Softworks LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or any linked third-party platform.
09 Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you will indemnify and hold harmless Gregory Softworks LLC from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of this site or your violation of these terms.
10 Governing law
Texas law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles and subject to applicable mandatory protections. Disputes must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue.
