The short version: The Contextian is a simple link page. It has no accounts, forms, or sign-ups, and it does not set tracking cookies. We use one privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool to count visits in aggregate, described below.
01 Information we collect
This website does not collect personal information directly. There are no contact forms, accounts, or newsletters here, so we never ask you for your name, email, or any other identifying details.
We do collect aggregated, anonymized usage statistics (such as page views and approximate visitor counts) through Vercel Web Analytics, as described in the next section.
Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider also records basic, non-identifying technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) for security and reliability. This site is hosted on Vercel, whose handling of that data is governed by the Vercel Privacy Policy.
02 Analytics and cookies
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate, such as which pages are viewed and roughly how many people visit. It is privacy-friendly by design:
- It does not use cookies or store anything on your device.
- It does not track you across other websites.
- It does not collect or store personally identifying information, and visitor counts are derived from a non-persistent, anonymized identifier.
Because this analytics is cookieless and does not process personal data in an identifying way, the site does not display a cookie-consent banner. If we ever add tools that do use cookies or collect personal data, this policy will be updated and a clear consent notice shown first.
03 Links to other platforms
This page links out to our profiles on third-party platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. When you follow one of those links, you leave this site and are subject to that platform's own privacy policy and terms. We do not control and are not responsible for the data practices of those platforms.
04 Your rights
Because we do not collect or store personal data through this site, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If you are in a region covered by the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA and believe we hold information about you, you may contact us using the details below and we will respond in line with applicable law.
05 Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
